This was our first exterior project and we can’t wait for the next. Working on this home’s exterior was an absolute delight and might have turned into an obsession. The oldest home in the area, it is rooted in history, and our job to bring new interest to the facade while making it look as old as possible. This meant sticking moss into the masonry crevaces, kicking sand on the new bricks to beat them up, and aging the copper roof. Every aspect of the new we wanted to be rooted in old.
